ISIS IS US: The Shocking Truth: Behind the Army of Terror

This anthology, put together by my sometime publisher, John Paul Leonard, and other US-empire-dissenting notables, is commendable for tackling the single biggest cynical deception mounted by "our" government in this American dark-age period - that the US military and its political henchmen are battling real enemies overseas and here in das homeland. As their fact-filled essays make abundantly clear, ISIS and similar allied terror groups have been the foot soldiers of US aggression, in conjunction with US air power and drones, in Syria, who they continue to supply and direct, even after the Syrian Army of President Assad, aided by President Putin's air force and likewise abominated Iranian allies, have all but obliterated them.The core of survivors from the ISIS debacle have by now been sent on a new assignment, to wreak havoc for the US in Afghanistan. If the American public knew all of that, through now hard-to-imagine honest and diligent mainstream reporting, would matters be different? Would the American public rise up and say as one, "Not another dime for you slime-balls in power? I would hope so. All of the assertions I make here have now been amply evidenced by independent journalists on the ground, much more so than in early 2016, when this book came out. Most of the articles that make up the anthology, with the exception of an extraordinarily long one toward the beginning, which breaks the general flow by interminably summarizing therather dry decades-long prior history of the entire Mideast, are well focused and on point, and all are worth reading. I'd rate the entire production a a 4-and-a-half, but bumped it up to a 5 because coverage effectively addressing its ultra-important subject are badly needed. Please buy, read, and recommend widely to help straighten out your country.

I just started reading Mr. Lenard's book “Isis is us” and from what I have read… I leaves me in a very uncomfortable space. You see cognitive dissonance is the order of the day. Americans are living in a state of denial. They just want to believe in “Apple Pie America” they just want to go on believing that we are living in a free country, and that justice prevails. What’s contained in this book is shocking to Americans still in cognitive dissonance. So shocking that many will pass this book by for something more cheerful and entertaining. But there is a small cadre of humans of fine character even in Wiemar Republic America who are willing to open their eyes. “If you are out on a freeway in traffic would you rather be looking away from it, or facing it”. This book is not entertainment! This book is required reading for those who want to save this country and indeed the whole world. It’s like a compact world history fairly showing how America fits in. Its not a pretty picture. Criminals and murder’s not only run in streets, but run our government. Who would have ever thought that “ISIS is made in America” it seems so absurd! We Americans are at war with ISIS or so they want you to believe. The be headings, mayhem, and murder in the Middle East are being orchestrated from Washington DC with our hard earned tax money. We must stop identifying with the United States Government/Corporation, it is not us. It does not represent us. We do not pick or elect our representatives. All of it is one big show with Donald McTrump making us all feel like we are a part of it. It’s a big Circus where they keep us busy working and emptying our pockets to keep the circus going. This murderous circus is soon to end. When you realize that the worst traitors in history are now at the helm of ship. You will start to come out of cognitive dissonance. You are in the middle of a war at least know your enemy! ISIS is us!

I give this 4 stars. Not because its truthful in its conclusions, but I find that the truth in its compilation of fact, helps me to organize my own thoughts about the history of foreign policy. If you can sift through the desire to attribute, what I would call "vast incompetence", to "insidious intent", then this is an invaluable resource that indexes many of the mishaps of political history that tend to be downplayed in the press anyway. I don't fault the author for drawing the conclusions that they do, after all, all is fair in love and war, but I would caution on using this as anything but a narrative based index on points of history, that can individually be verified.

This is the best book that explains what happened to my country Iraq. The events the author he talking about are very accurate. Death squads killed most of Iraqi civilians, I witnessed their violence day by day , I lost many friends and relatives because the death squads. It is so sad time I will never forget in my life . I really appreciate the author that he brought these facts to light . I wish every American citizen read this book to understand what is going on . This is a big game, creative chaos. Middle East will continue to be the attention of Western powers unfortunately because the oil reserves.

If headlines on ISIS causes your fear level to ratchet up, I recommend this book. It will lower that anxiety and, possibly, replace it with disgust. Disgust with our own side. Disgust with our Western media. This book weaves together compelling evidence that military operations in Syria are going according to plan. It’s just that the plan is not the one thought to be true by prevailing opinion. There is a huge disconnect between what actually is going on, and how things are portrayed in the Presidential debates, or by the media. Along that thought, a line from the introductory chapter brought out my highlighter, “Our lying, embedded media are acting as the purveyors of fakery, and the enablers of genocide. They are just as guilty as those who do the actual killing.”

Everyone should read this book. You will be able to understand what is going on and why in real time. It makes you know how to interpret the government mainstream media. Always, just the opposite to what they are saying. Most of all you realize we are not the good guys... There are no good guys. This world is totally controlled by evil forces.

I would urge everyone with a free mind to read this book. It is well put together by the author and his contributors, well referenced, and well researched. I am fully aware of propaganda, psychological and emotional manipulation by governments, delivered via a compliant press. I am also aware of British involvement in the promotion of terrorism. What came as a shock was how bad the involvement was, and who was manipulating the mass destruction of so many lives, for money, power and oil. Donald Trump promised to "drain the swamp. He hasn't a snowballs chance in hell, when you read how deep and dirty it is. I gave this book a slow absorb read, and I urge you to do the same. Learn the truth, before the Globalists like Clinton and Brussels succeed in blocking it.

This book is more like a collection of assorted notes. A must-have reference for those who don't swallow government BS. I don't. I believe in going several extra miles on foot just to reach beyond the mirage. ISIS was, like Al-qaeda before it, an American-Israeli project that failed thanks to countermeasures by rival nations. This book helped me in saving several original webpages from the same MSM that later rewrote the ISIS narrative to fool you and me.

Es ist jedem der ernsthaft an einer unverfälschten Darstellung dieses Krieges gegen Syrien interessiert ist zu empfehlen. Eine Übersetzung ins Deutsche ist wünschenswert.

Well worth making this part of your research into the truth behind the woefully biased mainstream news. Another good read is "The War Against Putin:What the Government-Media Complex Isn't Telling You About Russia". It's our responsibility to question the news-propaganda and do our own research.
