I struggled with this for several hours and reread the manual again and realized I was using the wrong lever for that motion, and upon . retesting it, all was perfect. I had several minor technical questions and they were amazing responsive, despite the time difference, responded within 12 hrs each time. This is a great product and a great company. My only suggestion is to have a better manual that incorporates some of the video tutorial into text. Other than that, and even with that, you cannot go wrong purchasing this drone. It is well worth the price, does a lot more and better than cheaper drones, and even better than some more expensive drones. I suggest buying the spool as it makes handling the cord much easier. But The Fifish App, which you use to see the video, adjust settings, etc for the ROV works on Android and iOS. The Samsung Galaxy S21 should work fine. We use a S21 Ultra, but the regular S21 should work too. It does work on older Samsung devices as well **Q: what is the size of the battery? Is it removable? Trying to figure out if you can fly with it as a carryon or in checked baggage.** A: The battery is 9000mAh/97.2Wh. The battery is not removable. We suggest checking it or shipping it ahead. In order to do so, you have to have two smartphones and assure that the FIFISH APP is downloaded on both phones. Then you would connect each phone, subsequently, via WiFI. After connecting the phones, you would leave the first phone as the controller to retain control of the unit. As for the second phone, you should enable the VR function on the APP and place the phone in the VR goggles to see it through VR. The unit arrived defective, it had some issues with the head light and stabilization so the company replaced the unit and gave me thruster protectors for the inconvenience.
