Of course another factor to finding the correct shade is the foundation color the powder is being applied over. I've tried applying it with kabuki brush, oval blur brush, and the sponge that's included in the package -- and my favorite is the sponge. Coverage is medium if applied with sponge in 2+ layers. I was hoping for a closer to full coverage, but I don't think this pressed powder will achieve that. I bought #5 Beige, but the actual color is much lighter than the product page pics. I probably will need to go darker next time. I don't think this powder is drying, but again, I do use toner, moisturizer, and primer under it.
