I have searched high and low for candles as nice as these and none are as good for the price. They are a staple in my house. **Q: Where are these candles manufactured?** A: According to the box, these candles are manufactured in the EU, and the box shows corporate offices in both Poland and The Netherlands. **Q: Do these candles have lead free wicks?** A: There is no lead in the wicks. **Q: Do they store well in hot temperatures? Ordo they melt or deform easily?** A: We put up with hot summers and find that they do not deform easily. We use candles on a regular basis year round and have found these to be excellent for the price. Easily as good as or better than similar candles selling for much more in local stores.
