Brinsea products set the standard for incubation materials and brooding. This little unit is very much plug-and-play, the temp gauge is relatively accurate (dial it in with a couple hygrometer/thermometers inside the bell- mine was only 0.4-0.5 degrees off). With some fiddling, I was able to keep my humidity and temp steady throughout the entire hatch. You might have a hard time getting the humidity high enough during lockdown with this as us, but I ended up blocking off any possible venting/escape points and had no further problems. I love this little unit, highly recommend it for the newbie/first time Hatcher/ class projects/etc, however you will need to macgyver a couple small things and make sure you have at least 1-2 additional accurate methods to monitor temp/humidity.

They individual trays do not stay connected when you turn them in the incubator. Save your time and buy the maxi II eco turning kit instead.

Brinsea is THE best incubator on the market today, and you’ll know that especially in situations where keeping the humidity steady is paramount, as it is in incubating peachicks. This is a Brinsea insert for goose eggs, which are larger than peacock eggs, but you can use it for peacock eggs, too. Brinsea offers these inserts for specific models so know your model before placing your order on Amazon. The insert cleans up easily, too. That’s important because every year, one of the eggs fills with gas and explodes, leaving a mess. This insert wipes clean effortlessly. Again, this insert can be used for goose eggs, but also peachick eggs.

I have hatched multiple chicken eggs and one goose egg in this Brinsea incubator. It’s easy to use once you figure out how to navigate through the menu and what the menu items are. I am happy with the purchase.

Wouldn't fit my incubator, returned

Quality is good but I bought to put in my Cobito to increase the eggs I can put in..the brinsea is not the correct size..I had to grind down the extra in the middle to make it fit..

This is a simple to use and very effective incubator. I’ve hatched 24 chicken eggs and 16 goose eggs with it and had 100% success rates with both species. I do wish it was larger but for the price this is tough to beat. Cleaning is not that hard to do either.

Mislead by posting. Not worth $20 most incubators can already accomodate smaller eggs

Artikel kamm beschädigt an. Eine halterung ist abgebrochen. Leider habe ich es zu spät gesehen und konnte es nicht zurück schicken weil die Eier vorbereitet waren für die brut. 0 Sterne

Great piece of equipment, we were lucky to whitness hatching 15 quails ☺️. Advice - read the manual - don't be smarty pants.
