Not that impressed
I am just not that impressed with this CFast reader. Sometimes I have a hard time getting the CFast card to seat correctly. I am not sure what the little door on front is for but it seems to get in the way. In the end it works as its supposed to but I will probably just buy the cheap one next time.

Dont buy Cfast Reader
Sandisk keeps disappointing me. Bought CFast 256GB for my BMPCC 6K G2 + this CFast card reader. It basically doesn’t handle transferring files bigger than 4GB. What’s the point when you need to transfer files that are 50GB+??? I have 250GB of documentary footage stuck in it. Can’t get it out and can’t film more. Went online, found out lots of people having the same issues with 256GB and 512GB cards. I wasted my money and now I need to buy an AngelBird anyway (which seems to be how people are solving the problem). DO NOT BUY CFAST READER! It’s useless.

Speeds Suck
Bought the cfast 2.0 version hoping to upgrade my old prograde reader. Speeds bounced between 50 and 1 MB/s while my old prograde can manage 110 or more… don’t know how a product this new can beat basic basic speeds. Did the tests using the same connections and connectors. Will probably be returning.

Fast, Light weight and compact
Other than the price ($150) this definitely works great on film and TV sets when transferring large file sizes. Was able to transfer 250GB in about 30 minutes to two external drives.
