The adhesive on my iottie phone holder got too hot and will no longer stay attached to the dash. Do I need more adhesive, or just the dashboard pad?

I have the same problem when the inside temperature got too hot, the VHB on the disc fell off of the dash. After reading quite a few reviews that reported this issue, I have been looking for the air vent holder for this model, I haven’t found one yet. I may just purchase the holder that comes with the vent attachment in the box. However, I am going to try a clear adhesive for the dashboard mount hoping it will hold. If the clear adhesive doesn’t work, the air vent attachment seems to be the last option. Just be aware that I have no idea if this adhesive will hold the round disc to the dash in hot or cold temperatures.
