The bill is hard and the rest of the hat is soft. I would say it is unstructured. The color is lighter than the picture with tan mingled in for a distressed look.

it certainly doens't resemble the picture.

it is a soft materials which doesn't hold its shape. it is disappointing as it looks great in the picture but totally crap on my head. i have hardly worn it due to my disappointment.
