How do we find the real deal to put in a med kit?** A: Our Exactmed sutures are professional medical grade quality sutures. They are sterilized and meet CE standards. They are identical to sutures used in professional medical facilities. However, due to amazon restrictions they are only marketed as for training/veterinary use. **Q: Can these fit in a credit card slot in a wallet?** A: Yes, I purchased this item and several other things to have in an emergency bugout bag for my car and for my children and their cars. **Q: Can this be used on a someone in case of emergency?** A: Yes absolutely. I used these on myself and they work very well. The only thing you want to watch out for is that they are 4/0 size. That is small and not strong enough for larger wounds on tough skin like appendages. For that you want size 1 or maybe 2.
