Bought this to connect with others for a bookcase project- didn't need power supply so went with the best reviewed for strip lights without power.The adhesive is different than others - difficult to get the paper off adhesive, the paper sticks to the tape better than to the strip. The biggest pain is trying to connect the cuts to a connector- the strip is wide and it's difficult to put it in the connector - has to be trimmed carefully. Just gave up on a shelf because the copper wore off trying to connect it. disappointing.
