doTERRA Clove Essential Oil - 15 mL

If you like the smell of clove than you will like this oil. I use a drop of it on my toothbrush with my toothpaste when I brush my teeth and then I gargle it in water for a mouthwash. I like how clean it makes my mouth feel and the taste. I do this because of Cloves antibacterial properties. I also add it to my diffuser with orange, cinnamon and cardamom for a spicy, holiday smell throughout my home. This is a wonderful oil with many uses. I have heard people put a drop on their teeth for toothaches but I have found that I have not yet had the opportunity since I have not had a toothache fortunately. When I do I will definitely try it! Please please please be sure to select the "available from other sellers" option when purchasing ANY DoTERRA product though and choose to purchase from a seller who clearly posts their Wellness Advocate ID number. This will help to ensure that you are not getting a product that has been adulterated or tampered with. This is a common issue with buying name brand essential oils on Amazon. The caps are easy to rig to appear unopened and dishonest people will dilute the expensive oil or replace it with synthetic fragrance to make a buck unfortunately. I understand why people want to get their DoTERRA on here as opposed to from the website because you want to get wholesale prices without the hassle of becoming a member. I do it! However, if you want to get it on Amazon be smart and cautious about it and please just always get it from a Wellness Advocate who lists their ID number. It will be clearly posted next to their name in the column that usually has a description such as "New" or "Unopened". Add it to your cart from the seller who lists their ID. Also, watch out for sellers whose price is LESS than the wholesale cost on the DoTERRA website because that would just make no sense. Why would someone sell something for less than they paid for it if it were brand new? Know exactly what you are putting into your body or into the air that your family breathes.

Love this oil!!!

This is my favorite oil by DoTerra so far! One of my friends used this Clove oil to stop smoking - I am very serious. We were talking one day, and I noticed he kept taking a drop from a small bottle. He applied a tiny bit of something that had a warm, bitter, but sweet smell on his tongue. I finally just had to come out and ask him what it was, as my curiosity was running wild. He told me it was DoTerra's Clove Oil! I was shocked, I never knew it could be used for that purpose. He explained, when he got a craving for a cigarette, he would take a drop and put it on his tongue (or the roof of his mouth) and it quietened his cravings. He quit smoking after smoking for over 15 years, using this method. Please Google this method if you want to quit smoking and kick the habit :) I knew I had to try some. Seems to be OK enough though Doterra & those that sell it somewhere else say it counterfiet (sp)...always the counterpoint of fear...I use clove oil for impacted wisdom tooth that acts up on regular basis - and this "counterfiet" oil works and is less costly. I also bought two other brands to compare. I think wisdom tooth issue is a good testing ground...

Love this oil

I love that only a couple drops is needed as it is quite strong. I added 2 drops to my son's homemade deodorant along with cedarwood and frankincense.
