I like the fact that there's a HEPA filter, and there are at least a couple of bag types available. I ordered aftermarket HEPA bags. The combo of the filter and the bags worked well. It was relatively easy to change bags. It is better than most small hand held vacuums - most don't have a HEPA filter, and many don't have bags, either. I also own an older Oreck upright. **Q: Just got this vacuum today. How do you make it blow?**
A: Remove the Hepa Filter Cover and Filter from the back of the unit to expose the blower port. This is right in the owner's manual but it's hard to understand because they don't actually show it...they just describe it.

**Q: Compact canister bb 1100 db bag. What replacement bag do I need to order for this product?**

This is an excellent product. It is easy to handle, with a useful set of attachments. It seems well made. I like the fact that there's a HEPA filter, and there are at least a couple of bag types available. I ordered aftermarket HEPA bags. The combo of the filter and the bags worked well. This is the third Oreck Compact Canister Vacuum Cleaner I have purchased from Oreck. I wore the first one out by fraying the cord and you cannot repare or replace them. The value is good for the money. They have good suction and great for getting up pet hair. I just purchased two more in recent months. I have one now for upstairs and downstairs.
