Worked GREAT on my 2009135i ๐ค๐ผ
Worked great. Peel back the adhesive liner like so undo the window rail from the inside of the door and top rail as well 10mm. Push it aside while you slip the unit through the small hole towards the bottom. This is the only way to remove and install easily. Be careful with the lock mechanism yours might be broken like mine and you might need a new one from AliExpress or here.

Fits perfect and solved my problem for a quarter of the price!
The install was pretty easy after watching a few Youtube videos but be careful. So many BMW's use this same part but they are all a little different when it comes to tearing them apart. I ended up breaking another part (the key lock lever) after I put in this part because it wasn't exactly the same as the model I watched the video of. I guess I can understand why they don't send any directions with the part now. But even after replacing both parts now I am still saving a ton of money over buying the OEM part or taking it to a mechanic to fix.
