A: I have used it for 2.0L ecoboost and everything works fine. I cannot tell if it is recommended for 1.6L. I think you can ask about it from ford service.

**Q: Does this work for a 2013 ford fusion 1.6 l ecoboost?**
A: Yes the mercon LV is the recommended transmission fluid for your 2013 Ford fusion with an automatic transmission. I would stick with the Motorcraft fluid over any cheaper alternatives.

Cheaper and easier to use than quarts. Typically a little more money but when the Ford warranty requires it its a must. Showed up in time and no leaks!
