Locks good good, but do not operate smooth and key falls out. They work but not great quality

Found an old tool box in a junk pile and had to change the locks and these worked perfectly.

Wasn't long enough for my safe. The front plate of the lock is too small too!

Got it to work on our tall metal, storage cupboard in garage. Parts from the old lock, fit on this new one. This helped a lot, as I was able to retrofit the old parts with new lock. 🔐 👍 Just a tip……maybe try to make sure, beforehand, that you can retrofit existing parts with any new lock you purchase. Take measurements. The locking lever, on our old lock, has the same cutout. It now reaches its maximum point for security.
