I recommend these books to everyone I interact with
I didn't even know this was a book series. I watched the show a couple years ago and was a huge fan! To begin let me just say THIS SERIES IS NOTHING LIKE THE SHOW. CW used Kass Morgan's story as a guideline to create their own version of the scenario. with that being said please stop underrating these books "because they were nothing like the tv show". separately, I tried ordering this series from another vendor off amazon without realizing it wasn't the complete series (the full series is 4 books, they only sent the first 3) it wasn't clearly stated it wasn't the complete series on the item's page (thats a whole other issue I know). BUT then I found THIS vendor selling the series AND it was cheaper than the other one! All in all this is an awesome series you NEED TO READ! and please stop bashing books based off their tv/movie counter parts.

Great read!
I absolutely loved this series. I saw the show first and fell in love with it, so when I found out that there were books I had to read them. But it is nothing like the show! Which I kinda like because it is like a parallel universe.

Recognition of Mental Illness in Teens
When purchasing these books I was a little nervous at first for what to expect when reading them. I began this series by watching the television show which I enjoyed but it wasn’t up to my expectations. What I loved about this book was getting to learn the characters better on a deeper level. A show can only tell you so much, these books allowed for me to relate to these characters on a whole entirely different level. The 100 series explores a bunch of teens being sent to a post apocalyptic world where they must learn to survive in their own. How are they expected to be sent off by themselves and just “learn” how to survive? It is amazing to watch the characters traverse this unknown territory and find myself in a similar situation now. Learning how to live without my parents earn my own money, manage it, applying for college. It’s all so terrifying to learn on my own but I relate with these characters as they traverse this new terrain also. They are thrown into this world that they must figure out how to survive in. This text I feel focuses on two things primarily. Description of the world and the setting they are in. The other would be the thoughts of the 100 teens. What this world feels like to them and how it is affected them. This is primarily in Clarke’s mind where although it isn’t directly addressed. She begins to suffer with mental illness. Unaware of if every decision she makes will hurt her family or help them. She is lost and she blames herself for what happens to all those around her. It can be looked at like Clarke is the villain but in reality as you watch her more and understand her character better you create a bond with her. These books explore a post nuclear war world and display how young teens are affected by this and what effects it can have on their mental illness. It allowed me to engage with this characters through the author’s description. Also connecting current world ideas and struggle to the wonderful novel.

Love these books!!
Love these books so much but the box was ripped and the corners were crushed when I got it and I didn’t buy the used version. The books didn’t have any damage to them so its still a five star for me

Really good condition
I was skeptical about all the reviews of them arriving damaged but I just thought what was 20 dollars for slightly damaged books. To my Surprise the only damage to it was a little mess up on the corner but it doesn’t bother me at all. I just read the first book and it was really good. It’s far different from the show but there’s similarities in it as well. When reading the first couple chapters I was confused because it would change scenes suddenly and then carry on later. When the font size changes I guess it’s like a scene change to a memory from the past and then it will go back to the bold lettering when it’s over, just a heads up. over all I really like the book so far and the condition was really good upon arrival but I mean let’s be real it’s paper being sent in a box of course there’s going to be a little damage it’s something you’re going to have to accept when ordering books online. I highly recommend it

Loved these books
I just loved these books. They are nothing like the show except for the names and the whole concept of them living in space and then coming back to the ground. There wasn't as much happening, as I hoped. The time moved slower in the books than the show. But I still really liked them and absolutely loved the characters and the way that their own emotions were expressed so well. I could totally relate to most of them, and I liked that the characters felt so real, the emotions, the actions, the struggles they went through, loooved it.

It’s not exactly like the show at all but i love it
There’s a lot of characters that don’t exist in the show and the other way around as well.. but i love everything else besides the fact that Lincoln, Raven, Monty..etc don’t exist in the books 😭

Very good read
I have watched all seven series on tv, these books are nothing like the series, I enjoyed both but surely if it is taken from the books then they should be the same.
