It works and I love that it comes with all the attachments so I can charge almost anything.

Found an old laptop with a dead battery after moving and couldn't locate a charger that fit because every brand makes their charger slightly different. Called a computer shop and asked about a replacement charger for it, they wanted $35. Looked online, it was closer to $30 for a charger from the manufacturer (with shipping after), and $25 for a charger that met the V/W/A requirements... then I saw this one for less than 20, and figured I'd give it a shot. It took a little while to find the right connection piece, but the laptop is charged and running fine. So I'd say this does all I needed for about half the cost of buying from the shop in person, with the added benefit of being able to charge other laptops in the house if something happens to those chargers. Seems like a good deal to me.

Convenient for regular laptops but it doesn’t provide a C-Type for those who are looking for that. Considering most new laptops require C-Type now. It comes in a small box that doesn’t take up much space. I haven’t used it yet since I bought for emergencies but good value for money considering the amount of different plug types.

One of the parts should keep anyone from the repair shop when their contacts get worn out.

Okay, I had to replace the come-with adapter because the plug *and cable* were getting more and more finicky. Turn the laptop a certain way, twist the plug in the socket a certain way, and it'd stop "connecting", ie, charging, and the only notice you'd get is the stupid little microscopic icon in the lower-right corner would change from battery-with-AC-plug to just battery. Next thing you know, you get a low-battery warning out of nowhere, and seconds later the laptop would shut down on you. Wonderful. So I got a generic adapter to replace it. And it'd work... mostly. Long story extremely short, the same exact thing would happen, but to a much lesser extent. Adapter with X-side up, and it'd work. Adapter with X-side down, and it wouldn't charge. Wtf?!?!? It's as if the cable had a broken connection internally, and would work if compressed (eg, wire bent "up"), but stop working when the other way around (eg, wire bent "down"). It's cheap enough that I just have to make sure X side is down, and keep watch on the stupidly small icon on the screen to make sure it was still connected, but I'm still not a happy camper. It shouldn't do that, and I didn't want to be several weeks without an adapter exchanging broken one for hopefully-working another. It beats the known-bad adapter, though. --- Addendum: The seller reached out to me after my review, offering me a refund or replacement. Since my laptop's old and I already had to replace first the drive and now the adapter, I figured it's time to just go new, so chose a refund, and received it immediately. Great customer service!
