Review: Absolutely gorgeous and a great company - Let me start by explaining my situation. I initially ordered these from the company directly and after waiting I don't know how long they sent me the right box with the wrong shoes and I almost crashed out. After back and forth with them they apologized and took the shoes back. I then ordered them from desertcart and got them but then I got another package from the company and they sent me another pair of the right shoes for free so I wound up returning these but I still wanted to write a review because I love them. I am not a cowboy or a Texan or any type of person who should be wearing these shoes. I'm as much of a city boy as you possibly could be but for whatever reason decided one day that I wanted cowboy boots probably because of Target at advertising after listening to a country song. In terms of comfort these boots are extremely comfortable more so than what you would expect or at least I would expect. I want to give them a fair rating and explanation because they're not like other shoes. I recently took them on a trip with me to Africa and wore them on Safari and across Africa. I even wore them to the airport and the irony is these are some of the best airport shoes you could have because they slide right on and slide right off. In terms of weight they are obviously heavier than a pair of sneakers which makes them slightly difficult to travel with however on this trip which was 32 days and 10 flights and 10 countries I made this work. I wore the each time at the airport and was able to slide them off throw them in the bin and slide them back on without any issue. Again I'm not someone who takes care of my clothes very well but these have held up walking across all kinds of safaris as well as going out to clubs and they still look good. The art support and like foot padding is great I can't explain but it's like a pair of Skechers. They're super comfortable and easy to put on and take off. The size and fit were perfect. I can't say anything negative about the shoes because anything that I would complain about is just nature of cowboy boots and again I'm a city slicker faking it. But I will say is the look and design is amazing. Again I wore these in the heat of multiple safaris in Africa and never were my feet hot because the way they were set up in terms of ventilation. And again I just want to say the comfort in walking in these was great. I don't have a lot of experience wearing cowboy boots but I can imagine that they're very uncomfortable because the way they're set up. That's why I don't want to complain about these because they're not shoes that you necessarily want to run a marathon in because of how they're set up but they are extremely comfortable. I wore ankle socks or foot liners for the most part and I didn't scuff my ankles wearing them but I would recommend socks that a little higher. These became my go-to shoes and some of my favorite boots and I can see myself wearing them all the time now even though I'm totally faking it. The pair I got has the American flag kind of blended in so it's not too bright and your face but you can still see it and it just looks good. The leather is soft but the grip on the bottom of the shoe is also great. I added some pictures for reference. Again this is not sponsored it I wanted to be upfront. I've worn these more than I would have imagined. I thought they would be one of my one and done things that was a passing random thing I do but these have become a staple even for this city boy. Highly recommend for comfort, ease of wear, style, value , and quality. If I can wear them across 5 continents and they still look that good you see what you are getting and the only reason it's not 7 is because in Antarctica you have to wear special boots and I have not made it back to Australia yet but when I do these are coming with me.
