I am not going to review the book, I will tell you about this particular Maple Classics edition which is a thick lump of a book with fat spine. Pages are of off-white color and printing is clean with good font size; not big, not small. Mine came with a slightly bent corner. Thing to notice. You may find paragraphs here and there breaking mid-sentence which can break your reading tempo. There can also be some typo. Otherwise, book is neat, good price and nice to look at. Content is unabridged, authentic and what it should be. Review: Tolstoy's War and Peace is an intriguing exploration of human behavior, conflict, and philosophical thought.

Bookmark was missing, how much you save from a single bookmark, and if that's the problem keep reasonable 1rs extra for bookmark. Although book quality was good, and that's the reason 4star to the book.

If you've had the great good fortune to examine some reviews before you bought this cut and paste excuse for a Tolstoy Tome, GREAT NEWS! This "book" is literally scans from a paperback. Yep. Not even kidding. Some of them are even slightly askew on the page and you can see the black lines on the border, from the photocopier. This book would be a great gift for someone you hate.
