Review: Holy sunshine this thing is bright! - Bought this bulb to replace an old mercury vapor light I had on the side of my house that burned out long ago. Man this thing is bright! I didn’t have to rewire anything to make this work. I just unscrewed the old bulb that was burned out and put this one in its place and it came on just fine that night. Update: 10-28-2022 Been almost 9 months and this thing is still going strong. It’s on a “dusk-till-dawn” setting so it really gets used and I totally love it. The light it replaced was an old school $30 Home Depot purchase from years ago and that light was okay for the price but wasn’t bright enough for my taste. I’ve been a police officer for 24 years so I know the number one deterrent for burglary is a well lit area, so my yard looks like a major league stadium and this light help it get there! B

Bulb started blinking between bright and dull at about 6 months, now it's dull all the time. It's in a regular parking lot base protected from the elements. Waste of time and money!
