Even not fully charged it turned over my Shockwave motor - the Vertex .18 just fine. It was harder figuring out which backplate to use than to actually install it. Unmounted the motor and pulled it to the side a little. Undid the pullcord (broken string first run!). Then pulled the gear out of the pull start, put it into the new backplate and screwed it back together. Total job maybe 15 minutes.To start it, hook up the starter engine with the "wand" and crank. You still need the glow plug warmer on top.
