What’s the gold bar in the packaging? Also, does this lighter not come with the adjustment tool any longer?

Hello I don't remember a gold bar--it was certainly not gold! No adjustment tool. I really don't recommend this lighter. Mine was junk. But I've found "Honest" lighters reliable and adjustable, with no problems. But my experience is based on 2 lighters--mine and one a gave as a gift. Good luck!
