**Q: What’s the gold bar in the packaging? Also, does this lighter not come with the adjustment tool any longer?**
A: Hello  I don't remember a gold bar--it was certainly not gold!  No adjustment tool.  I really don't recommend this lighter. Mine was junk.  But I've found "Honest" lighters reliable and adjustable, with no problems.  But my experience is based on 2 lighters--mine and one a gave as a gift.  Good luck!

Does not work. After a week of trial and error, it's safe to say that this is a defective product and customers should know that neither the seller nor Amazon will give you a refund. https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GMZNGRA9B5PCJB5F Per their own Non-Returnable Items page, if you buy this product and the seller gives you a defective product, they keep the money and Amazon will not offer you a Returnless Refund. If you go to your Returns, it will stonewall you with a FAQ where you are in a loop trying to trial and error. This was after I had already done everything including look at what other people had said. Only purchase if you are willing to gamble on a soft flame lighter that has many mixed reviews and know you can't return it and get your money back. Look up your area's Household Hazardous Waste laws and make plans.
