I freehand my designs and I wind up with some very small and funky shapes so I really like the skinny 3/16ths width as it prevents smaller pieces from being covered by solder. Just work slowly to ensure you have coverage on both faces of the glass. I also use a wider width around the outside of my piece to give it more strength (I don't love working with came so I solder a wider frame instead). Great foil, never moves once it's burnished unless I really want to take it off, easy to place where I want it since it's thicker and therefore more firm and gives more control, hardly creases (actually doesn't crease at all unless I mess up which makes fitting pieces together easier). The only con in my mind is that it can be a little stringy, with a little bit of clutter around the edges which seems so be extra copper that gets sticky but isn't part of the main strip, but I just scrape that off with my fingernail and it isn't a big deal.
