As good and non-toxic as a seed oil can be. Great to use around wooden grow beds,
Itโs just as advertised. A beautiful toasted honey color, but not roasted or toasted or boiled so you get the benefit of just raw oil without the harsh solvent, heavy metals, or drying agent additives in other products. It takes several days to dry while working its way through the wood. Very penetrating, especially on weathered wood. It makes the old, grey wood look much younger!

raw linseed oil
It worked perfect on my wood project. The thickness was good. the finish covered evenly. There was a slight smell but nothing bad. I can't address the durability of the linseed oil that will come in time.

From Drab to Fab!
From drab to fab! My above ground garden boxes have really taken a weather beating in Central Oregon. Thanks to previous reviewers for steering me in the right direction. This all natural - NOT boiled - linseed oil arrived next day, hooray! After a light sanding, this product was super easy to wipe on with a rag and my wood just drank it in. I think for me it was a good value but I am definitely not knowledgeable enough to say. Hopefully this will help my woods durability this summer (and my plants do well!) but for sure they look so much better! Posted a during/before and after photos.

10/10 Would Recommend!
This product is a must when trying to protect your investments is exterior wooden products/projects. I'm building out a large kitchen garden with wooden whiskey barrels planters, wooden and metal raised beds, wooden flower boxes, and wooden decorative trimming on my she shed. As you can imagine with cost of wood and wooden products, it was super important to me to find ways to seal and protect the wood. I brushed this product over every inch of each wooden item in my garden...top, bottom, inside and out! I was pleasantly surprised to see that not only was the wood tones enriched, but water literally beads up and rolls off! I will periodically reapply to the exteriors of each item, and for the whiskey barrels with metal bands around them...I also covered the metal with the oil the beeswax as an added buffer from all our rain. If I could have bought this product in bulk, at an affordable price, I would have sealed my entire fence with it! It really gives wooden items great protection with a beautiful richness of the wood tones.

Only for those wanting a chemical free/ organic product.
Exactly as described. Used it for a furniture โ finish โ product, for unfinished wood. Not the same thing you can buy in stores, as this is pure, and has no chemical dryers or additives. You can literally eat off a table finished with it, with no harmful effects.

Not Sealed
Product was not sealed, so don't know if contents are as described on container. Hope it is! Item arrived a day later than promised. Otherwise, product applies well, but because product is suppose to dry in 2 to 4 days, that's what makes me think this in not Raw Linseed Oil, but maybe Boiled Linseed Oil. Product is drying rather quickly. I wanted raw because I'm using it for wood in a vegetable garden and want only non-toxic product to protect my wood.
