It is not just for Senior people, but everyone who needs to know what level they are into. Easy to use and nice carrying case to put it into. I got the purple one since that is a calming color and used it today when my OT was here. It is very bright Red numbers to them being pretty large to see. I can say it is not uncomfortable to have on your finger. The part that holds your finger adjusts to the right size when inserted so never pinches you in hurting your index finger. I like the heartbeat reading too so you know what that is doing. Mine today was perfect so I was happy since it had been lower another day.
