Received one order last Dec. 3 & another on Dec. 11. I wear one type when I’m at home & the other when I’m at work. I have not seen degradation or loosening of material since purchase. I’m 5’3, about 116lbs, and ordered a small (my normal size) and it’s crazy tight!!! I mean maybe that’s the point though, it’s definitely supportive. It’s just really hard to get on and off at first bc of how snug it fits. Hopefully it loosens up a bit over time. As far as the effectiveness, I just got it today so I’ve only had it on for about 6 hrs but so far it has been really helpful in managing my knee pain. I recently did something to my knee — not sure if meniscus, ligament sprain, bursitis, or what, still waiting on the MRI results — so I can’t say definitively that it’s helpful for a certain condition, I just know I was completely immobile from the pain before, but this brace allows me to at least get around the house and take my dog outside without feeling too much pain or discomfort.
