Bought this so I could use my wired headphones and also charge my phone. I typically only need this feature when traveling. This item works exactly as expected. Its simple to use and needed no adjustment on my phone and no reading instructions or anything. I just plugged it in and it worked.

Very happy with this product so far. Not sure about durability because we just got it today. My son’s tablet only has a charging port so this is perfect for his headphones and be able to charge still at the same time. For the headphones port you have to make sure you push pretty hard to plug it in all the way otherwise it will be super distorted sound. But works great with headphones and charging at the same time. Very happy!

Update: Customer service contacted me and made this all good only got to use it 5 times and it quit working. I used all the same cords. felt like the connections got weak, and wobbled. anyway. they are good when they work. I was told to contact seller if any problem but can't find them on Amazon. so good luck with that

I have used this brand for years. I periodically have to buy a new one because they do not have extensive longevity...about 2-3 years. I have several so I can always have a set on hand. I like that you can charge and use the device at the same time. Works well for a year or two. I buy over and over because the value is good.

My setup: Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, android phones with and without headphone jacks, laptop. various .wav/.flax 1400+kbps bitrate & 128kpbs.mp3 audio files. Audio quality was good. Definitely better than the onboard DACs, but if I wasn't actively listening, or was listening to mp3s I couldn't tell the difference. May depend on your device, specifically for pixel 7: worked with a phonecall, volume/pp buttons work. Does not trigger an autopause if you disconnect the headphones but not this device. Does pause if you disconnect power. Slight hiccup when plugging in power. Don't have to plug in the headphones before plugging this device in.

We used this for over a year and it had a couple of issues - we had instances of the audio coming in and out with noise, which we were able to determine was being caused because of this device. Then suddenly our phone stopped charging via the splitter. So I would say this is not great quality. It was not expensive, however, so that is why I gave it at least a 3 star.

I had this product fail on the 4th use, after the warranty expired and wrote a review stating that. The company reached out to me and offered to make things right. They are sending a new product. This is superior customer service and hopefully the product will work great.

In all fairness I need to update this review. Shortly after I wrote this the company gave me my money back and another dongle to use. It’s the last hour of 3.4.2026 and the dongle died today - just by plugging it in like I’ve done every other day in the last 6 weeks. Now, the dongle made it through the subzero luxury month of February we had (-20 to -30°F). We got up well into the 40’s today. And crack - I heard the electrical sizzle on all my speakers. So, no, this dongle is not worth the time or energy. Sorry, company but you’re peddling garbage. At least I’m honest in front of all these cool cats about my old car (with a big engine). (Original review) I have an iPhone 16 and an older car that only has an auxiliary port. This dongle worked great for a week or two. Then I went to plug my phone in one day, there was a loud buzzing noise and then nothing worked. I worked on it for a long time and got sound to come out of my car speaker for about 1 second and the dongle has been dead since. It was a long dongle which was nice so the cords didn’t have to go all the way up the dash to the phone holder. I guess you get what you pay for.
