I'm always ashy and it soaked right in and it moisturized so well. This product has a very pleasant and clean odor to it. You can confidently put your PJ's on and go to bed after using it. I can now sit outside without being bombarded by our tiny, neighborhood flying vampires, gnats or yellow flies/deer flies. It even takes the itch out of a bite. I recommend showering with it every day. The key to this working is not to over-rinse. I suggest turning off the shower head, soaping up, hair and all, then rinsing to where there's no suds and your hair squeaks and stop rinsing. Apply the creme right after bath. I love both products. However, I am writing this review because my 88 year old mother in law was trying to get her clblack cat in at night and thought she was bending down to pet the cat, but unfortunately it was a skunk and it sprayed her pretty good. The smell was something unexpected. Burning rubber, poop, hair and raw sewage along with skunk smell. This poor woman stank so bad. We didn't know what to wash her with, so we used the soap for bug bites. The soap absolutely killed the smell of skunk on her. I mean she had no smell. She even washed her hair with it and when she came out of the shower, she smelled great. So I would give this product 10 stars if I could.
