It works by keeping your nasal passage open so you inhale from your nose instead of your mouth, which would cause the snoring. You have to stick the device way up your nostril and can be uncomfortable when crinkling your nose. It will take some getting used to. I'd recommend getting the pack with the different sizes so you can see which fits best.
