Nice product, your expensive radio deserves protection.
Nice product. I initially thought that it didn’t come with the mounting screws but they were well packaged and taped on the cardboard padding. Good fit and finish. There was s a tiny little hex screw securing the antenna adapter. In my opinion that could be a bit larger and more robust. Overall I am happy with this.

Awesome accessory.
The Windcamp cage enables packing the ICOM 705 radio in a backpack for hiking into remote locations to set up radio operations. The cage protects all connections from being jostled while carrying in a soft enclosure.

Arrived damaged with a ding on one side of the top. I said it’s going to get used anyways. But I would have liked to put it there instead of someone or something else! But the item arrived on time and in one pice. All accessories and stand is intact and included the antenna mount with bracket. Built like a tank, very durable for size. Functional and easy to get to all controls and important connections!

Nice case - made from machined aluminum
At the recommendation of a friend i purchased this cage for my Icom IC-705. It is beautifully made from anodized aluminum and fits perfectly. I am glad I found this product.

Great quality protective frame for IC-705. Just perfectly fits to that radio. Looks amazing.

I really like the feel of this 'cage' and it does seem to protect the radio quite well, on all sides. It also has a flip=out 'foot' on the bottom to angle the radio upwards for better viewing. My only concern is/was that while its easy to install the cages, the Allen screws where you place the Allen wrench, started to round out. They should use harder (SS maybe?) set screws. So I am a bit concerned what repeated installation and removal will be long term. As info, it does NOT (well maybe if you force it) fit in the ICOM Backpack with the cage on. not a deal breaker, but be aware Otherwise this would have been a 5!
