Nelson-Rigg Trails End Lite Motorcycle Tank Bag

Had this strapped to the top of my dirt bike when I tipped it in the creek the other day. Had my phone, some snacks, my vapes all sealed inside. Bag was fully submerged with the bike, and all stayed dry. Great products. Big enough to fit a little ice pack, plus two waters, my phone, both my vapes, and everything stays dry if gotten wet. Only downside I have to this is thaty phone overheated if using the front usable pocket area. But that's to be expected with the heat this year.

If you are looking for an appropriately sized tank bag for your Honda Grom this is the one. With some finagling of the straps for the lower tie-downs it was perfect. Fit nice and snug, no wiggle once you tighten the straps down. You can lift it up to refill gas and click back in very easily. The cheap USB to SAE cable sold on Amazon fits nicely through the cable hole at the front. Looking forward to getting down the road with us!

Works as advertized. Quality product. Watched numerous youtube videos of tank bags in this category. Purchased and used on a motorcycle trip in high to low temps, dry to pouring rain for hours. As stated in product details it is water resistant. Never had any water in main compartment. The top transparent space did collect moisture. Both from condensation during quick temperature / humidity changes and during hard rains. I did not use the included rain cover. Anything placed in this transparent area will get hot from direct sun exposure. Installed on a BMW R1250 GS used with USB cords routed inside for power ports to charge iPhone, Mifi, helmet Cardo intercom, etc. Specifically purchased this bag as it has a cord pass through slot in front. Works great. All my Rigg Gear bags work as advertized. Would buy again. Other option would have been the Tusk Olympus small tank bag (also has cord pass through slot in front).

The bag fill the space between the gas cap and seating area on a Honda CRF300L. Since that is a small bag. Big enough for a cell phone, wallet, keys and a few other items. Whatever you bring along for lunch might fit if you are not a big eater. The straps hold it securely but the directions take some trial and error to figure out. It easily unclips for gas fill up or to remove . A plastic cover resembling a shower cap is provided to keep out the rain and works well when parked. The "cap" has a draw string to pull it tight around the bottom of the bag, but, because of the mounting straps, that is not possible. I have not used it at highway speed for fear it will blow away. All in all a good bag and I would buy again since it is the only one I found that is right size for my bike.

It took me three tries to find a tank bag that fit well on my old BMW. The mounting system is flexible enough to work for most bikes out there, I expect, and it's only a very minor inconvenience when filling up. One really nice little feature that's hard to show is the velcro cable access hole in the front of the bag, which helps to keep USB cables under control. Build quality and materials are very good! So far, I haven't seen any scratching of the paint, though I expect I'll want some kind of stick-on barrier before too long. Although the dual zippers are capable of taking a small luggage lock, not included, I do wish it came with some security besides "take the bag off and carry it with you" so I added a paracord tether through the rear loops attached to the frame to make it just a bit more of a pain for someone to run off with. I also added a little belt tool pack that I had, since it fit well. Overall, a versatile and practical little bag!

I added this bag to my drz400 for when I'm on small trips for the secure storage. I don't have to always have my backpack

I have a KLR and a DR and they are very different in terms of what sort of tank bag they will accept. I used a Cortech bag on my KLR and have been happy with it but the DR has much less real estate. This bag fits well and really does exactly what I need, carries my paperwork and a few essentials. The bag appears to be very well made. The clear touch screen area seems to work, at least while the bag is new, though I doubt I will use it for a phone. My Cortech bag is probably three times the size but considering it is unused empty space, this much smaller Nelson Rigg looks like it will do the job and fits the bike's real estate really well. Installed, this bag looks neat...neat in the sense of well thought out and not messy or kludged together looking. I was able to install it just below the gas cap so it may be I will be able to fill without even moving it. The installation instructions are unclear...more work should be done in that area, for sure. I figured it out, but if a company is going to include written installation instructions, it would be nice if they actually told you how to do the installation. What comes with the bag ain't that. That is why they got 4 stars from me in the installation category.

I’ve been using this tank bag for nearly a month now, taking it with me on my daily motorcycle rides. Whether I'm commuting to work or going for a short weekend ride, it has been a consistent and reliable companion, offering convenience and practicality every time I hit the road. Pros: 1. Overall good quality It looks great, feels nice to the touch, and uses no magnetic parts—so there’s no risk of scratching your tank. 2. Easy to remove and carry It attaches with four clips and can be taken off quickly and effortlessly. 3. Spacious storage It easily holds a water bottle, gloves, and a few other essentials. However, despite the overall positive experience, there are still a few shortcomings worth mentioning to give a complete and honest assessment of the product. Cons: 1. Stitching issue on one pad (See attached picture 3.) This may be a one-off manufacturing defect with my unit, but it’s still disappointing. 2. Strap position discomfort (See attached picture 4.) When mounted on my Z650, the strap placement makes riding uncomfortable, especially when I need to grip the tank with my legs. 3. No internal divider I store my registration and insurance papers in this bag, but there’s no dedicated compartment for documents, so they end up mixed with everything else.

Perfect fit on my 701 and great quality...compared with other brands its a bargain.

It fits my CRF300L very well (need to shorten the straps, once I am fully committed to the bag, and to the position of the bag on the bike. I recently changed bikes. My last one had an Oxford magnetic bag, which is very nice. Doesn't work on a dual sport with plastic shrouds, so I ordered the NR strap-on bag. The Nelson Rigg bag holds the same 2 primary items, 500ml water bottle and sunglasses case, while being smaller. It's just a better shape, more rectangular. And I like the big clear "map pocket" thought it's small for map.
