Came same day, very chunky quality feeling cable - even had some plastic connection protectors that I've never seen before, I guess to stop the clips from being broken.. was a nice touch. Went straight in to the Virgin Media Superhub 5s 2.5GbE port that my pc was being plugged in to, then to my 2.5GbE and SFP hub and bam my PC was getting 1150 down and 103 up. Switch says full 2.5 connection so it's doing what it should. I've had my Homebrew on for the past 24hrs plus pinging Google and not a single drop or missed packet. Highly recommend, considering it was the cheapest cable I could find, I'm impressed.

I bought five of these to connect all my tv , streaming and sound devices. Every cable arrived in perfect condition with a useful Velcro cable tie. I was very confident of connection and a reassuring click told me the cable was fully inserted. All devices worked and there is a noticeable increase in load time on Apple TV over WiFi. Great purchase.

For several months my broadband connection was slow to connect and dropped out sometimes. I eventually found the fault was a Cat 5 cable that was picking up electrical interference from several cables in close proximity to it. I fitted the latest Cat 8 cable because it is well shielded from interference and the problem was instantly solved. I am delighted.

I was prompted to look at connecting cables when my Deco wireless mesh told me that I wasn’t getting a good enough throughput between my Deco and my BT gigabit router. It turned out that my Cat 5 cable network at home is just not future proof enough (admittedly I had it in from about 7 years ago.) I found a Cat 5e cable and I used that to connect the Deco to the router directly - the warning was gone. I then started to read up on it and found that we could upgrade to a Cat 8 and the data speed will be the fastest. Having swapped it to a Cat 8, the speed test seem to show the same thing. So I’m not sure if I should expect a different reading if the overall limitation is the speed of the wireless network or the router to the Net? Perhaps that cap is lower than what either 5e and an 8 can offer. No point changing?

Ich liebe die Kabel von Akake. Sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, keine Störungen in meinem Heimnetzwerk erkennbar. Qualitativ ganz weit oben. Kenne sonst nur die standard Kabel vom großen Rot/Schwarzen XD aber seit ich mir mein erstes Cat8 von Akake gekauft habe - hat mich kein anderes mehr begeistern können. Ich bleibe bei diesen hochwertigen Kabeln. Was ich mir wünschen würde, wäre noch ein Flachbandkabel Cat8 von Akake aber da habe ich bisher keines gefunden ;).

I like the finish on this cable, rubbery soft. Some ethernet cables have a plasticy rigid feel to the outer cover and pick up creases, so might be a while, bit I would look out for similar if shopping cables again. Can't compare performance.
