That was my problem getting started. I’ve had it on the charger and there is no light on.** A: I have not had to charge my mouse since I received it. I make it a habit to turn it off after each use. Don't know if that makes any difference, But I just now took the charger, plugged it into the mouse with the button in the off position, plugged it into the wall adapter, and there was a red light by the white wheel on top. I then turned the mouse on with it still in the charger and the red light appeared in the bottom like it always does. Not sure which way is the right way to charge.
