18V BATTERY 5.0AH

I needed a higher AH battery for my Makita impact. This battery lasts very long and provides plenty of power when needed. I have two other Makita batteries that are 15 years old, and they still hold a charge as well as provide me with hours of use. You won't get that kind of quality out of the cheap copy-cat batteries others are selling. Spend the money on an OEM Makita battery and save the frustration.

I have only just received this battery. It’s very reasonably priced, and appears to be a bulk packaged original Makita battery. It seems to be new and identical in design to my other made in Singapore Makita (2.0 Ah) battery. It came with 1 bar on the led charge indicator, and charged rapidly in my RC charger. How it performs in the long run I don’t know. But so far it’s a thumbs up!

Was not aware of how much longer run time with the OEM battery. Knock of batteries of 6 Amp hours do not last nearly as long.

I'm always skeptical with batteries as knock-offs are abundant. These appear to be as advertised, they charge in the 45m(ish) timeframe suggested, and seem to be high quality. The price point was markedly better than any 2-packs I could find (I purchased two) so it was a no-brainer. I had expected the batteries to arrive in original packaging from Makita, however they did not. They were in a very thin/cheap plastic bag that looked like it was sealed with a kitchen quality bag sealer. That being said.. oh well. Batteries seem great so far, price was outstanding.

You can't go wrong with the Makita 5.0 battery and the price if these. The group of guys has it priced reasonably and cheaper than any other retailer out there. Do business with these guys and you will not go wrong! Extremely fast shipping and quality control is stellar!!!

Great price on this big battery. Lasts significantly longer than my 3.0 batts. Fits in charger and tools perfectly. Is a genuine marital battery as far as I can tell but just not in the store type blister package.

I purchased this battery to replace a couple of knock offs I'd purchased from Amazon a couple years ago. Neither of them held a charge under use nearly as long as this one. Both of them shorted out and were cheap, you get what you pay for. I have not rated this battery's durability since I have not owned it long enough, but thus far I am very pleased with the product.
