I’m an infant and toddler teacher and got these for my class. Young children don’t always have the fine motor strength to use enough pressure to get the color out of crayons that older children do and sometimes markers can be hard to clean. Wet paint is good to use but is always messy and many young children just want to put it in their mouths. These paint sticks were so easy to use, quick to dry, so creamy, and the colors were so bright and amazing. It really looked like paint once it was dry. You could layer the paints without blending and it felt so satisfying to use. I wish they made these in thinner sticks to make more detailed art for older children. My own kids (4 & 2) also loved these. They spent more time making art with these than other crayons or markers. These are way better than gel crayons which don’t always dry and often transfer colors to other things if the paper rubs against another material long after being used. The cleanup is so easy. They wash right off of hands and tabletops. I haven’t tried washing out of fabrics yet but it seems like it will come out with ease.
