They look like they've been used and have writing on the inside of the discs. Should they be?** A: Should not be used. They do write the weight of the disc in grams. Example 159. If that is what was written it is from the factory. **Q: do they float ?** A: Will float only in 2 HIGHLY unlikely water landing events: (1) disc lands perfectly flat, upside down on its back and does take on much water, and (2) disc lands perfectly flat right side up and traps air underneath. Water entry at any angle and they go to the bottom. So, 99.99% or more of the time they hit water, they will sink, not float. **Q: How durable are these discs?** A: They are quite durable. They get scuffed up when hitting trees. I like the discs and as a beginner They are very good.
