It definitely msjes my car smell good. Negatives... You have to push the top down for it to close. This would work better if it snapped in place or you could screw on to close it. This item has to be plugged in to use. I wish it could be charged up instead. It takes up a cup holder. Wgrn we are traveling and stop to eat. I have to detach it. And because it's not fully closable the water can spill out. You have to discard the water and oil in the container or find a snug area so it doesn't waste out.
