Wow!!! We struggled all last year with having cloudy water, at one point, we drained our huge above ground pool, just so it wasn'cloudy!! Then within a week it was cloudy again. I happen to find this on amazon read the reviews.... And this stuff is amazing. I would say, after a couple hours, I could tell the water seemed clearer. And after a few days, it's crystal clear, absolutely amazing. We didn't know for sure, but after doing research, you still have to add pool chemicals to it also, this is just to keep the water clear. And it works!!!

This granular chlorine does its job in the pool, but if you’re running it daily, cal hypo is usually the better long-term option. Where this stuff really shines, though, is on exposed brick and concrete around the pool or patio. Just spray the area with water, give it a light sprinkle of this, let it sit for a couple hours, and rinse it off—grime, algae, and mildew don’t stand a chance. Makes old surfaces look refreshed with minimal effort. We keep a bucket around for this alone.

Had the worse time getting my pool back into shape this season. Saw this and used it once so far but I love it already. It cleared it up over night and smells clean too. It's cheaper than having a pool company do it that cost me over $200 a month to use.

Has worked so far for my above ground pool. Doesn't take much so will last long.
