I was tired of my knives being about as sharp as a buttered spoon, so I grabbed the Diamond Edge No.1 Knife Sharpener hoping it would finally turn my sad collection into something that could actually slice a tomato without turning it into salsa first. Holy edge, Batman! This little gadget is like a spa day for your blades. In just a few gentle pulls, my dull kitchen knives went from "butchering the bread" to "surgical precision." I now feel like a professional chef... or at least someone who watched too many Gordon Ramsay videos. Pros: Safer than my ex's cooking – The ergonomic handle and non-slip base mean I didn't lose a finger (a personal record). Compact – Fits in a drawer without declaring war on my utensil organizer. Works on everything – Regular knives, serrated ones, even my "I bought this in 2012" steak knives that had more rust than edge. Cons: My family now expects me to sharpen EVERYTHING. The scissors, the lawnmower blade (don't ask), and apparently my patience. It's so effective that my old "I swear it's still sharp" excuses no longer fly. Thanks for exposing me, Diamond Edge. If your knives are lazier than a teenager on Sunday morning, this is the wake-up call they need. Buy it. Your tomatoes (and fingers) will thank you. Handy little gadget to have in the kitchen. Even though it’s plastic it does have a sturdy feel to it. The suction cup at the bottom can slip when using the sharpener (minus 1 star) but being careful, you can hold the base down when drawing the knife towards you giving a sturdy feel. When sharpening a knife you can see the grindings on each pass leaving a nice sharp edge. If your knife is blunt it may take a few passes to sharpen but will do the task for you. Overall, with a little care it’s a handy tool to have around.

Excellent product. Easy to use. Sharpened all of the knife set within 3-4 pulls through the sharpening edge. Pressing the small handle down securely sets the sharpener to the surface.

Really great item, works as described

It’s a knife sharpener that is the same as most knife sharpeners except it has a sucker on the bottom to help keep it steady. This sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. It’s the same little two wheels that you drag your knife through to work and it needs more than four strokes to sharpen blunt knives. Pretty average tbf.

Very easy to sharpen knifes with and works great. Gives a good finish and doesn’t destroy the condition on of the knife. It’s a small device so it’s easy to have out somewhere or put into storage
