Of those who have had this kennel for close to a year, would you still recommend it?

We are going on 4 years with 2 of these. We love them and are purchasing another for our newest addition to the family. This is not luxury furniture but our dogs like them and they look 100 times better than a wire kennel.

Is this big enough for a German Shephard?

We have a 75 pound Golden Retriever who enjoys being in the cage with the door open and her front paws draped outside the cage. She has to curl up when we need to close the door. You'll probably want a slightly larger cage for your German Shephard.
