Great generator controller for gas and diesel generators.
Great generator controller. Worth every penny! You need to follow the instructions and you will need to be familiar with your generator in order to install it. Seller offers good technical support and responsive. I also ordered the wireless remote accessory which allows me to start/stop the diesel generator in the garage from the house. My generator needed a relay for the glow plugs and I also purchased them from Amazon. Very configurable for gas or diesel types. Easy to program. Just push button to start or stop and it monitors oil pressure and engine temperature, speed, voltage and frequency with automatic shut down and any shut down fault clearly shown on the panel.

The instructions for this are wrong!!
This controller does work. The instructions are wrong for this item. The instructions say that in order to tell the controller that this is a diesel engine that you have to energize pin five. This is untrue. Energizing pin five does nothing except for provides power for pin four. The only way to get power out of pin four is to energize pin five. Pin5 passes through the pin4 so that your ignition and fuel pump can work. So send 12volts into pin2 and pin5. Once you do that the starter (pin3) and the ignition/fuel pump (pin4) will output power. This took me hours to figure out. Minus one star from Gryffindor!!

Great Product.
Made a little space for it in my generator-fed breaker and switchover panel. Made test runs throughout the year, it never failed.

Starts generator, but fuel output doesnt work
Easy to setup, and install, however, the fuel output doesnt have enough volt/amp output to hold engine kill relay on while running(only have 4vdc, which doesnt work to hold a 12v relay on). Hopefully the seller sees this and can possibly provide a solution as its a great little controller but useless without the fuel output control

Loose circuit board connection
I installed it, wired in the DC to power it up and the pin out connector on the board had a bad connection, rotated it up and down and it would power up and then go off. Bad connection to circuit board? Can not fix that. I am out 75 dollars. Oh well.

Very happy with this product
This little controller is worth it. It has solved all my problems with my RV genset. Works grate! Very happy with this product.
