I liked this book better than Lion's Share. I guess to me it felt like Jace and Abby's love would have to be a sort of show burn, though I know that's years have passed it did not feel like that to me story wise for some reason.Blind Tiger was pretty interesting with Robyn because she is new to this world, new to life in the Shifter Society and new to her body now that she turns into a cat. The only complaint I have is that this was a little short for my tastes. I personally would have loved for it to be longer but now I'm curious on how the rest of the series will go. My mind also sort of wandered onto different possibilities so I'm just going to throw them out there for you.So now that we know that female strays are officially possible I'm curious to know what would happen to a single mother if she were to become infected. Her child would be human and have no one else to rely on. How would the council deal with that? Would they tear her away from her kid and keep her as they did Robyn or would they allow her kid to live with her? What would happen to a new stray tomcat who is already married? This was a question in the book and I'm curious about it.If one of the other shifters, if I'm remembering correctly there are birds and bears? Where to move to the Mississippi Valley Territory how would that work out? What ever happened to the stray that was in Brazil? What if she decided that she wants her own pride and starts her own up in America in one of the other free zones? All questions I would love to see the answer too. I hope that you decide to continue this series.Something else to consider in future Wildcat Novels. Faythe was such a strong character in the books that's it's sort of.... Disconnected with the Wildcats that she isn't a more active character behind the scenes. I know time has passed since Alpha, and she is now a mother but...I still don't feel like she's the Faythe we grew to love with all her mistakes, determined mind, and passion. Hopefully we will get to see more of her after her child is born, I miss her sarcasic remarks, her fierceness and need for justice.

Oh my goodness. Rachel Vincent has done it again. She has been one of my favorite authors for years. A tattered copy of Stray in my local library was all it took to get my life long devotion. Years and several series later I am back for more. I thought I had exhausted my love of PNR before this book came out. I mean I loved the first Wild Cats book (Jace is still one of my all time favorite heroes) but after that my reading focus started to shift to more contemporary and dark human based stories. Recently I found myself in a reading slump that lead me back to Ms. Vincent's catalog and when I realized there were stories from this world that I had not read I knew that needed to be recitified as soon as possible. I was not at all disappointed with this story. Robyn was fierce and funny and really likeable (more so than I ever found Fayth to be if I'm honest) and Titus was just...yum. But more than that this story held some really interesting prospects for the future. I can not wait to see what comes next from the Mississippi pride cats. I want both the steamy hot connections and the political drama an intrigue. Everything about these books keeps me hooked from beginning to end. I will never doubt my love for all things werecat ever again.

but reminded me why I loved those characters so much

The shifter series was one of the very first paranormal book series’ that I read back to back without stopping. So it’s a no-brainer that the Wildcats series would be on my reading list as well. I was shocked to find out the second book of the series had released and still to this day do not know how I missed its announcement, but devoured every single word in one sitting. Vincent is known for creating complex, paranormal characters in an ever-challenging male dominated world. Blind Tiger is no exception.Robyn’s infection and turn was a rare occurrence in the Pride world because she should have never survived it. Natural-born female shifters are rare, but in Robyn’s case, she’s the only one of her kind, a turned female human shifter. She’s unique and uniqueness in her world is both a punishment and a prize. Robyn’s survival could hold the key to bringing new women into the Pride folds, but it also makes her a valuable asset. Under the guise of being “trained” for her punishments after first turning, she lives a life under a microscope. She craves freedom, and when that chance arrives in the form of a stray seeking to establish his own territory, well, she pounces on the chance. From the moment that Titus and Robyn collide, the sparks flew. As the rest of the story unfolds, readers are left on the edge of their seat to see what happens with these two strays in a world where order and rules compel them all to obey. The moments we are given with Jace, Faythe, and Marc left me wishfully missing the first time I read the Pride books, but reminded me why I loved those characters so much.I am excited to know that this series is continuing, and I cannot wait to see what happens next.
