Have had these for a month now and am very impressed with the scale and heft. They appear as traditional stoneware with a heavier weight than typical plastic dinnerware. The rustic edge coloration and surface features are consistent across the 3 4-pc sets we purchased. The bowls are large with a nice honed finish on the outside.
