You can't go wrong if you need to split video. Review: Completely unreliable. Worked well for 2 days, then our video sources started flickering the image. We replaced the jtech distro with a major brand, and it solved the problem. For the price its worth a try. If it doesn't work Amazon is really good at taking back returns. That said I have found the J-tech DAs unreliable though and have recently upgraded to trays of DAs and converters. The J-tech filled the gap though until I could afford to buy the real thing. **Q: im going to use this to split a camera signal (AHD) between to sites about 500ft apart do anyone know if this will work?** A: This will work fine as long as you have decent cable. The SDI splitter work perfectly to get my camera feeds to my replay system and production switcher.
