Is it actually 19in wide? Thank you** A: Yes it is 19in wide. It is longer than wide 25in is from front to back., and 17in tall. It is huge but, it is great lots of room for cats to maneuver around. **Q: How high are the side walls without the hood on?** A: Not high enough. If you have an over-achiever that sprays high, this will only leave a mess. I also have another litter box that is a corner box, same height etc . On both of these boxes if the cat shoot high the urine will leak between the lid and the bottom and go onto your floor. Probably not what you are looking for. This litter box in particular is very frustrating being as it is oval you cannot scoop out the solids in the corners without twisting the scooper in a Houdini fashion. I have gone back to using my $5.00 special of a Rubbermaid or similar lidded storage box. You cut whatever size hole in the side that you want and I also cut a large hole in the lid so the cat would not be claustrophobic. It works well. Bottom line is this particular box is not worth the money in my opinion **Q: Just got this box. (the clips that hold top on are a flimsy) But my Cat peeped right out the entrance, so not working. Any ideas? Desperate here.** A: My cats occasionally like to whiz on the entrance too. My trick has been to put the litter box on top of a large tupperware storage tub lid (like the massive storage tote lids). Get one from home depot or lowes. It’s roomy for larger cats, includes a scent filter, and is made of a thick durable plastic. Every cat deserves this! Pros: The litter box unit is easy to assemble. It comes shipped in two pieces. The top clips right onto the bottom and that’s all the assembly there is. The front door opens up so it makes scooping and cleaning much more convenient. The scent filter is doing a great job at keeping the smell of litter minimized. Lastly the plastic quality is strong and durable! It holds a large portion of the kitty litter too! Cons: Perhaps a few other colour options would have been nice however this is just me being a bit picky about the product.
