I initially used these shields to keep my eyes dry in the shower after eye surgery. The shields did the job well, and they were surprisingly comfortable. The adhesive doesn't irritate my skin, and I can get a couple of uses out of each shield. I no longer need them in the shower, so I'm now using them to protect my eyes and forehead while applying hairspray.

Before purchasing the item, I was somewhat concerned about hearing that the shield didn't stick to one's face. I figured out why it could happen. The below is what I did to compensate for not sticking to a face. (1) Cleaned my forehead above eye blouse, with alcohol to remove body oil. (2) After drying, placed the mask onto above eye blouse. (3) Place a 1,5-inch blue tape used for house wall painting, over both upper and side edges of the shield. (4) I shampooed and the shield was stayed stuck firmly onto my face 100%. In fact, I could use it again for my next shower. A probable reason for the shield not staying on one's face, could most likely be due to body oil on one's face. I highly recommend this for those who had cataract surgery done. T

Not a fan. I wear them in the shower to keep the water and soap off my fake eyelashes. They DO NOT STICK on sides. Once wet they come off. 😢

You really have to make sure your forehead is dry and clean for them to stick well but even if it start to unstick if you get a little water between it can also help keep the barrier closed so that no water gets into/ onto your eyes. Does the job just wished it stayed solid because when I have to just hope it stays I’m constantly anxious the water is going to get into my eyes

I have recently began wearing RGP Scleral contact lenses. For the past year and a 1/2, I was wearing soft monthly bandage lenses (which are actually regular soft lenses that the opthomologist inserts for you to protect your corneas from injury or to heal from surgery). Anyways. I have always been concerned when showering or walking by outdoor misters, since water in the eyes is taboo. I ordered these covers because I was told that you are supposed to take your contacts out when showering or being exposed to any water getting in your eyes because of the contaminants leading to infection. Since I wear 24 hour lenses, I'm not removing daily so Protection is needed. I thought these would be easier and more transportable than swim goggles. They work well and only fog a little. The only problem is that the adhesive will not stick if wet and the shield will easily slide off. I hope they make the tape portion wider or strong in the next batch.

These are great for people who cannot stand to get water in their face!

After recent cataract surgery trying to shower / shampoo my hair I purchased disposable eye patches. The patch helped keep shampoo and soap out of my eye, but the patch was drenched after showering. I purchased the Shower Face Eye shields and wow! Not a drop of water touched my eye and I had clear vision throughout my shower. The adhesive held throughout and so lightweight! Cannot say enough about how well this shield worked. I will be able to color my hair now without worrying any chemicals may affect my eye(s). These shields should be included in cataract post-op surgery kits. I just purchased another for a friend with upcoming cataract surgery.
