My binoculars are new, so I haven't used them much yet. I don't know about the fog resistant feature. **Q: I’ve heard that 10x is difficult to keep steady. Do you have trouble keeping the binocs still enough for good images?** A: I don't, and I'm age 58. There is a technique to use for keeping binoculars steady that involves placing your thumbs against your face under your cheekbones. This helps greatly to steady the binoculars. I have no trouble getting a good view with my Zeiss 10x32s. **Q: The product dimensions for the zeiss terra ed 10x42 binoculars says 8.9x9.5x3.1. sounds huge to me. are they that big or is that the size of the box?** A: That is with width x length x thickness.
