Crawling Insect Killer, Powder

Boric acid is the best stuff to use against bugs. It works really well when placed in areas the bugs crawl. Use it liberally and regularly. Fresh powder consistently will help to possibly completely eliminate an infestation. The formula that was out twenty five or so years ago was so effective that once the roaches crawled on the powder they would flip onto their backs and quickly die. This stuff works slower now but it still eliminates them. Don't inhale the powder but it doesn't get in the air so that shouldn't be a problem. Possibly safe to handle (I don't know exactly). Easy to use. No detectable smell or odor. Lasts for a few weeks to months, until ambient moisture saturates it and makes the surface a little hard. Try Ortho boric acid first before using sprays or traps. You will be glad you did (when applied liberally). This is one of the best insecticides available.

Is the best

It works...not super quick, but after a few days I saw a 90% reduction in number of roaches in my apartment kitchen. And it is relatively non-toxic.

When I moved into my new apartment, I learned that there were already some very unwanted & unwelcome creepy, crawly roaches living here. Worried about my dog getting sick from cross contamination, I decided to try boric acid. I didn't do the sugar & flour thing but instead sprinkled the stuff all around the perimeter of KY entire apartment. I really dumped a bunch underneath the bathroom vanity and along the wall I share with another tenant. Sure enough, there was suddenly much heavier activity at first, now I only occasionally see one of the nasty things crawling across my floor, even at night when I go and turn on a light. A couple of my neighbors use a professional company. The folks that rely on the landlord to spray... well, it's just BAD! Every few months, I sweep up all the old boric acid and any dead bugs I find and replace fresh new boric acid and I can say that I rarely see the nasty things anymore, quite an accomplishment considering how bad they are everywhere else! My only complaint is that this stuff can kinda clog up instead of pouring out smoothly. Easily solved by sitting the bottle down and sort of banging it against a hard surface. Small price to pay for living bug free!

Bought for a spider problem but putting the stuff directly on them did nothing.

Love this. Had the beginnings of a roach infestation in my apartment. I was freaked out because regular bait traps weren’t working, and I was seeing new babies everyday along with a few adults. I used a tool to dust this stuff under my oven, fridge, and dishwasher, and I haven’t seen any in months. I reapplied after a few months to be safe, but so far so good! (I did this along with making homemade roach bait and putting Advion gel in all my cabinets.) It also helped get rid of ants in my bedroom. I had a stubborn bunch living in my wall, so i dusted inside the wall. No ants to be seen in awhile.

After more than 6 months of use, I can say that this product doesn't work. Roaches are still at the same amount. So disappointed from this product.
