English Paper Piecing
I do English Paper Piecing as well. This is perfect for the needs of someone like me. I have punched cardstock but my favorite item to punch out is the free cards that seem to drip from any given magazine. I can get six hexies out of a single card as a rule. Sometimes bigger cards will yield more & the cost of the hexies is great! LOL I say that after just using the "cardboard" insert in some online clothing I bought. It worked well on the first piece but couldn't get thru the second piece. If it doesn't punch with minimal pressure, do not force it. You will break the punch. Now I'm on my third order for one of these. One lady in Guild with me bought my first one because she couldn't wait for me to order one for her. The second disappeared when my daughter left after her vacation at home. Maybe I'll get to keep this one! BTW: Be sure to use a regular 1/4" inch paper punch to punch a hole in the center of each hexie so you can remove it from the fabric once it's sewn in place. (You'll need a fancy expensive quilting tool called a cuticle stick to pop them out of the fabric.) I like the Crop-A-Dial punch sold here at Amazon because I can do more than one at a time. I do about 5 or 6.. I'm going with an order for the third one of those for the same reasons listed above. Also note that Accuquilt (on Amazon) makes a die that cuts fabric into hexies with a 1/4" seam allowance. They fold around these paper hexies just fine. Much less hand cutting and EVERYTHING is completely accurate. The die will fit the Go! Baby as well as the larger machines.

A great item for quilting and crafts
I use this to make my own paper templates for paper piecing and quilting. It does the job very well! You can also use it for arts and crafts and scrapbooking too. It is easy to squeeze and does not take too much force. I sometimes need to use both hands with cardstock. It works well. It occasionally has a mis-punch, but that could be paper or user error. Otherwise, it's durable and good quality. I wish Fiskars would make more shapes and sizes!

Perfect for English Paper Piecing
I'm starting a hexie quilt that I'm not sure I'll finish. In this political season, I receive at least a half dozen ads printed on a light card stock. Perfect weight for the EPP templates. I could cut the templates by hand but this makes it so much easier. Every couple of days, I grab this punch & the accumulated junk mail & punch out hexies. Easy on my hand which has some arthritis.

GOOD
This a great reliable product. It is bulky so not likely to bring it on travel trips vs the flat acrylic templates. If you like fussy cutting it is mediocre. But I do use this often. The kids can easily help with punching this one.

Perfect 1" hexagons for English paper piecing.
You can buy pre-cut cardstock in various shapes for a quilt technique called English paper piecing, but if you get this punch, you can make as many hexagons as you wish, much more easily than cutting them out of cardstock with scissors. The hexagon shapes are 1" on a side. You can use a piece of fabric that is approximately 2.5" square to wrap around. By tiling the hexagons and varying the fabrics, you can make many beautiful patterns from hexagon shapes alone. If you punch your hexagons out of the reply cards from magazines, you will get four or five hexagons from each. This device can easily punch through lightweight cardstock but don't try anything heaver, such as boxboard (cereal box cardboard) because the punch will jam and possibly break. I now have a huge pile of hexagons, perfectly shaped and ready for a portable hand sewing project. Sewing Tip: I punch a small, round hole in the center of each piece of cardstock I'm using for EPP. I don't baste through the cardstock. That way, after I have sewn all the way around all the sides, I can pop the piece of cardstock out with a bamboo chopstick. I give the cardstock a press with a hot iron and it can be reused several more times.

Does not cut but Fiskars came thru
First punch was perfect. Won't cut thru any other paper now. I am using g the first punch as a template and now cutting which defeats the purpose of buying this. I am using it on varying thickness of greeting cards for a collage. It will not even cut cleanly thru regular paper. Do not recommend this product at all. Update 5/26/2020 - I contacted Fiskars and they provided a working replacement.

Durable and Easy to Use
Got these for a school activity, and love how easily they punch out hexagons from index cards. It is not sharp enough to cut through multiple index cards at the same time, but because of how quickly it works, only punching one hexagon at a time is fine. I punch out hundreds of hexagons, and even after close to two years, it is still working beautifully.

Doesn't stay sharp/edited
EDIT: Since the problem punch was out of the return date, I contacted the manufacturer and they sent a replacement, free of charge because their products have a lifetime warranty! I have had this punch for 2 months and it won't even punch through plain printer paper! I'm talking thin junk mail type paper, constantly skips cuts and gets jammed. I was very excited about this product, but it didn't last 2 months of sporadic usage. For the price I paid I should be using this thing for years, very disappointed.

Perfect!
I'm currently in the process of making my own hexagon quilt using the traditional English paper piercing method. I was sick of spend tons of money on etsy for pre cut hexagons so I decided to make my own. This is the perfect hole punch for it. It makes a 2 inch hexagon which is the perfect size; not too small and not too big. I use 90gsm paper and can only cut 2 pieces of paper at a time but it's such a time and money saver! I couldn't recommend this hole punch enough!

An EPP must-have!
If you love EPP, having a fast way to make templates is a must. Since getting this, I recycle any card stock weight paper that comes in my mail. Have also used small business cards with no issue. Fast and easy to use. Highly recommend!

Bello
Molto utile, rende il lavoro velocissimo se non fosse per un piccolo difetto che taglia male un lato.
